There are many outstanding aspects in Pastor and Prophetess Modiselle’s union. They share common things, for the way God has been working in their lives. One of the common things that stand out most is that in January 1997 they responded to an altar-call on the same day and at the same time. They remarkably baptised on the same day and attended the membership classes and became members of Ga-Rankuwa Grace Bible Church at the same time. They believe all these were orchestrated by the hand of God, not knowing one other and not knowing that one day they would be husband and wife and be in ministry together. This serves as a powerful testimony that by the will of God they were perfectly made for each other and their marriage was sealed right from the beginning.

There was no way we would not behold one another. God opened Pastor’s Modiselle eyes to his wife-to-be in November 1997. It was at the church’s wedding ceremony in Mmakau village, North West Province. God impressed upon his spirit so heavily that he turned to her friend; sister Nandi for telephone contact details. As he got to know her God spoke to him and confirmed that she was the one for him. Their courtship didn’t escape the devil’s attention. They met a lot of opposition from the brethren in the church for seemingly no reasons. The devil intended to put an end to their courtship. But they stood together trusting unto Jesus Christ. From that moment on, they grew stronger and their courtship was hidden under the grace of God.

They got married on 24th June 2000 at Hatfield Christian Church in Nina Park, Pretoria North. Their matrimony’s preparations also faced opposition, this time from some of close family members from both sides. Once again they stood together like two pieces of wood eternally glued together. Even in marriage Prophetess Modiselle was stripped of her health and she wanted to ‘throw in the towel’ in life. Like Shunamite women, all she wanted was to die. This was part of the devil’s continuous attempts to destroy the union, not realising they are inseparable and made for eachother till death do us apart. In ministry, they work like “fire igniting fire.” Today they are proud parents of two daughters, Phenyo and Omolemo.
